XBIZ LA and XBIZ Awards are coming up

January is typically a pretty busy month for the adult B2B trade show circuit, and January 2012 will be more of the same. XBIZ has moved XBIZ LA and the XBIZ Awards up a month, and they will now be held from January 9-12, 2012. The XBIZ LA show is back at the Sofitel in Hollywood and the 10th Annual XBIZ Awards will be held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

The XBIZ LA schedule looks like there are plenty of educational and networking activities available and PimpsPromo will be there for most of it.

Monday will have the XBIZ LA Golf Tournament and the 12th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards. The Cybersocket Web Awards are always a good time. On Tuesday the show gets started with Speed Networking, then a workshop by Brad Gosse.I am going to go out on a limb here and say that this is probably the one session will not want to miss. Brad had a Traffic Master Class last year that was extremely informative for webmasters and program owners alike. This year’s topic is Monetizing Promotional Content, and I look forward to listening and learning.

There will be seminars on buying traffic, billing, legal and other pending issues facing the adult industry today. The day will end with the 10th Annual XBIZ Awards. I was told I get to bring my camera in this year, so I am looking forward to this. FNCash will host an after party after the show.

Wednesday will feature an early Mix & Meet Market (10:30 AM) and Speed Networking. Seminars include an anti-Piracy discussion with Alison Vivas and UCLA Law Professor Doug Lichtman, a keynote by Ron Cadwell and a State of the Industry panel. XBIZ is also bringing back the 3-Minute Show-Offs that they introduced at their Chicago show. It was very well received the first time so I anticipate it will be even better this year.

Thursday they are having a double decker bus tour of Hollywood. They did this in Chicago, and even though it was pretty cold, I really enjoyed it. It may have been the first time I ever enjoyed Chicago. As a long-time Southern California resident, I have never considered a tour of my back yard, but I will make it a point of being there for this.

As you can see, this is going to be a very full event. XBIZ has a history of putting on good shows and the schedule looks like this will be another one. Online registration is $200 and $300 at the door. For a limited time, qualified affiliates, adult site operators and Sofitel LA hotel guests qualify to register for $100 (50% off). Check out their site for more details.

Anyone interested in purchasing banner spots on the galleries or watermarks on the pictures I have great deals available. Banner spots above and below the photos as well as watermarking the actual photos are available. A quick check of Google will confirm that any show I shoot and post here ranks in the top five almost every time. No one gets their photos up quicker, so take advantage of the first eyes as well as the everlasting search engine traffic. I have decided to offer a new option for those interested in watermarking photos, but do not have the budget to watermark the entire show. If all the photos are not sold, I will let you watermark photos of individual events at a discounted rate. If you are sponsoring a dinner, cocktail party or tour, I will now allow you to purchase watermarks for your specific event. This is a great way of reminding people who sponsored your event. Along with the watermark, you will get a relevant text link from PimpsPromo so you can take advantage of Google’s love for PimpsPromo.com. You can contact me for rates at Lloyd@spp-productions.com.
