The 2012 European Summit begins in Prague

Monday, September 24th, 2012

The 2012 European Summit (TES) has now begun in Prague and it has caused me to reflect back to last year’s European Summit in Prague. The European Summit is billed as Europe’s leading B2B conference for the online Internet industry. I started attending the European Summit back when it was The Barcelona Summit (TBS) and I have always been impressed with how much business and information was available.

Last year was my first time visiting Prague and I came away wishing I had been able to spend more time away from the hotel. Unfortunately, the only time I was able to get away was for the off-premise events such as the Cybersocket Party, the YNOT Grand Prix and the YNOT Awards. If you have not gotten tickets to attend, I recommend doing so, it was a definite highlight of the show.

These photos are from the Prague show in 2011 and include the Hotel Praha, the Silenzio, YNOT Grand Prix and YNOT Awards. You can find all the photos from last year by searching for Prague in the search box. (more…)

I did a few laps, then headed back to the Mission Palms for the second annual Friday Night Heat fund raiser hosted by Next Door Buddy Profits; and the late night party suites. (more…)

The first event on The European Summit 2012 schedule was the YNOT Grand Prix. Sponsored by 2000Charge, this Go-Kart tour has been traveling the world, with a return visit to Barcelona. This location, Indoor Karting Barcelona, is one of the most challenging go-kart tracks in the world. I have to be honest, I would have rather been driving that photographing this event. The track looked like it would be a lot of fun to drive. (more…)
