The 2012 European Summit (TES) has now begun in Prague and it has caused me to reflect back to last year’s European Summit in Prague. The European Summit is billed as Europe’s leading B2B conference for the online Internet industry. I started attending the European Summit back when it was The Barcelona Summit (TBS) and I have always been impressed with how much business and information was available.

Last year was my first time visiting Prague and I came away wishing I had been able to spend more time away from the hotel. Unfortunately, the only time I was able to get away was for the off-premise events such as the Cybersocket Party, the YNOT Grand Prix and the YNOT Awards. I realize that some of these events, the Grand Prix for example, have already happened, but the YNOT awards are tomorrow night. If you have not gotten tickets to attend, I recommend doing so, it was a definite highlight of the show.

These photos are from the YNOT Awards held at SaSaZu in Prague. YNOT was one of the the more visible attendees with their Karting Grand Prix and their 1st Annual YNOT Awards. I have to say, the event was quite classy. Several award winners did not make the journey to Prague, but I suspect after they hear the chatter and see the photos, awards contenders will make the trip to the next YNOT Awards. The highlight of the event was the entertainment provided by Brouci Band which is a Beatles cover band. Take it from someone that grew up in The Beatles generation, this band rocked. I dare say, they were the best musical act I have seen at any adult webmaster event.
