Saturday morning the XBIZ 360 adult industry trade show ended with a Hollywood bus tour. Even though I have lived in Los Angeles most of my life, I had never taken a sightseeing tour of Hollywood before, so I did it last year at the end of XBIZ LA; I have to admit, it was pretty cool. In fact, it was interesting enough that I would not hesitate to recommend it to someone that did not have a car and wanted to get a general view of the Hollywood sights.

I had to get to Las Vegas to get ready for the 2013 Internet Expo and the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo 2013, so I was unable to take the tour this time. My friend Sarah, the affiliate manager at Hustler Cash, is a recent transplant to LA, so she was eager to take the tour and was kind enough to provide a few photos she took. She told me that there were only a few people on the tour, but I have to give them props as they rode atop the double decker bus, and I know it was very cold this morning.

These photos are from the 2013 XBIZ Awards and red carpet held at the Century Plaza Hotel. This was the 11th annual XBIZ Awards and was hosted by Tera Patrick. The awards show had over 150 categories and had a great turnout. As I was not allowed to wander around and shoot the show, the photos are primarily of the red carpet and the audience before the show got going. The show itself did not get started until about 10:30 PM so I did not stick around to watch the entire event or try to capture the after party. These photos are from Friday, day three of the XBIZ 360 adult industry conference held at the Sofitel Hotel in Hollywood, CA. Friday was another day devoted to the digital media (Internet) and film content sides of the adult industry. The day started with Speed Networking for the digital media conference and an entertaining panel on the behind the scenes aspect of the adult film industry. The day included panels on Scaling Adult Websites and E-Billing Adult Entertainment for the Digital Media Conference and included Mainstreaming Erotica and the Death of DVD for the Film Content Conference. Additional panels included Beyond DMCA: The Fight Against Piracy and The Future of Digital Adult Entertainment and The Future of Adult Entertainment Film. The day ended with a pre-awards happy hour.

All in all this was a very good show with a lot of valuable information provided and a very good turnout. These days adult conferences seems to be getting smaller but XBIZ 360 seems like it was bigger than XBIZ LA last year. XBIZ and Alec Helmy should be congratulated.
