Photos from Thursday at the 2017 Phoenix Forum

Friday, March 24th, 2017

The photos were taken Thursday at one of the longest running adult B-to-B trade shows, The Phoenix Forum. For the 13th straight year, the Phoenix Forum has been held at the Tempe Mission Palms hotel; with the entire venue being dedicated to Phoenix Forum attendees only.

As I mentioned in my previous article, the weather was a good 20 or 25 degrees cooler than what people have grown accustomed. My first Forum was 2004 when we had monsoon rains; I think it was warmer then than it has been this week. To be clear, I have no complaints; I will take 70 over 95 any day.

The photos from Thursday include the multiple panels, seminars and round-table discussions that were held, along with the XBIZ Speed Networking, the GFY Happy Hour, the Welcome Reception, Cybersocket Kickoff Party and the Late Night Suites. (more…)

Photos from Tuesday at the XBIZ Show 2017

Tuesday, January 10th, 2017

On Tuesday afternoon I drove out to West Hollywood to attend the 2017 XBIZ Show which is being held this week at the Andaz West Hollywood. The adult webmaster event runs from January 9 – 13, with the XBIZ Awards being held Thursday night, January 12.

During my time there Tuesday, there were several workshops and panels discussing things like creating a fan site, production techniques for directors, how cam studios and models can partner together, and the State of the Industry. My day ended with the XBIZ Mix and Meet Happy Hour.

As was mentioned to me by a couple of attendees, this show is definitely becoming one of those “must attend” events, I will do my best to come back by Wednesday for sure. Thank you to Mobius Payments for the sponsorship. (more…)

Wednesday at XBIZ 2016

Wednesday, January 13th, 2016

These photos were taken Wednesday afternoon at the adult B-to-B trade show, XBIZ Show 2016 which is being held at the Andaz West Hollywood. When I arrived there were various seminars being held; some of which were sparse in attendance and others that were standing room only. There was also the Visionary Keynote by Tim Vilenti which was very well attended.

The Mix & Meet Happy Hour almost seemed like a reunion of sorts with lots of old-timers showing up. People were definitely there to do business and there seems to be opportunities galore these days. If you aren’t doing anything tomorrow, you might want to stop by the Andaz. (more…)
