ASACP Announces 20th Anniversary Hall of Fame Sponsors

Tuesday, March 1st, 2016

The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is proud to announce the inaugural naming of its exclusive Sponsor Hall of Fame.

According to ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning, the association’s Hall of Fame Sponsors are those that have proven to be the most generous and steadfast of its supporters, enabling the 20-year success story that the association is today.

“ASACP enjoys the support of a broad range of sponsors, members and contributors,” Henning explains, “but our ‘Hall of Fame’ sponsors deserve additional recognition for their long term commitment to the cause, and the tangible support they have provided us with — and without which, ASACP’s two-decade long legacy of protecting children online would not have been possible.”

ASACP’s “Hall of Fame” includes industry leaders ATKingdom, AVN, AWE, Epoch, MindGeek and XBIZ. (more…)

An engraved crystal trophy representing the honor was presented to Henning by ASACP’s founder, XBIZ CEO Alec Helmy, at the 2016 XBIZ Exec Awards in Hollywood.

“Back when ASACP was just a grass roots project, Tim was the first person to get involved with it, working tirelessly behind the scenes to further its goals and objectives,” Helmy stated. “ASACP would not be where it is today without his unwavering commitment and integrity.”

“On behalf of everyone who has been involved with the organization,” Helmy adds, “we extend our deepest gratitude for 20 years of outstanding service.” (more…)

Founded in 1996, the ASACP is a non-profit organization established with the lofty goal of eliminating child pornography on the Internet. To assist in achieving this goal, the ASACP has established an international online reporting hotline for both surfers and adult webmasters to report suspected child pornography; they have created a Code of Ethics and Best Practices for adult sites, search engines, billing and hosting companies and others. In addition, ASACP developed the RTA label to enable parental filtering software, and they do their best to keep members and others in the adult community aware of current, new and pending laws dealing with child protection.
