These photos are of the 29th Annual AVN Awards, held January 21, 2012 at The Joint, in the Hard Rock Hotel, Las Vegas. The show was hosted by Dave Attell, and co-hostesses Sunny Leone and Bree Olson. The event started with Belladonna performing her Cirque du Bella aerial silk acrobatics routine. It was quite impressive. The show was entertaining and the winners were genuinely happy to win. If there was an academy to thank, there is no question it would have been done. AVN is to be congratulated for a fine event.

Saturday evening was the 29th Annual AVN Awards, this year held at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Naturally, a red carpet was required since the event was celebrating the royalty of the adult entertainment industry. The women came dressed to the nines and the guys were pimpin’. Everyone came wearing their smiles. Luckily, the red carpet was held indoors, so the cold Las Vegas weather was unable to cause the wearing of too much to make it interesting. Everyone was in a great mood and considering how many people they had to move through, the event went off smoothly. (more…)

One of, if not the longest running adult B2B trade shows is AVN’s Internext-Expo and it is returning to Las Vegas, NV this January and PimpsPromo will be there covering all the action. Internext has moved again, this time to the Hard Rock Hotel. It will be a busy week in Las Vegas, with Internext-Expo from January 15-17, followed by Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) and Adult Novelty Expo (ANE) from January 18-21, culminating with the AVN Awards on January 21, 2012.
A look at the Internext-Expo schedule shows that this year will be a lot like last years show in that the “expo” portion of the event has been replaced with seminars, speed networking, workshops and an extended Meet Market.
Sunday is primarily networking opportunities with a golf tournament, a meet market, the YNOT Grand Prix and a party sponsored by Hustler. Monday and Tuesday have schedules beginning at 10:00 AM going on until 4:00 AM. The seminar topics cover such subjects as what to do with your mobile traffic, alternative billing and piracy. The keynote will be delivered by Fabian Thylman, Managing partner of Manwin. (more…)
