This screenshots are from day three of the Third Annual Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention, AEVC 2014. It was another day of seminars and workshops with the theme slanting more towards those that are content rather than producers and marketers. The day started with Greg Piccionelli discussing crowd funding in virtual worlds and continued with such topics as pay-per-click best practices for the adult industry, how to make money in today’s market and what to expect from a PR company. There was also a Q&A session with Tera Patrick and a seminar on the art of sex with Tyomi Morgan.

Saturday will be the “fan day” for AEVC 2014 and will feature several Meet & Greets with various porn stars. The day will culminate with the Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention Awards 2014 hosted by Patrick Maliha and Samantha Mack followed by the AEVC 2014 Awards After Party. (more…)

These photos are from the AVN Holiday Party which was held Monday evening, December 2, 2013 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. In a tradition that was started by [AMA Content] Joe Laughlin back in 2010 (if not before) and recently joined by AVN, members from different areas of the adult entertainment industry took over several suites at Staples Center to watch our Los Angeles Kings. Last night, the Kings hosted the St. Louis Blues in a 3-2 victory. While the score looks like it was a close game, St. Louis did not score until the third period; it was nice to be there to see the Kings win.

Before the game, several of us were invited to go out on the ice for photos; then they let us spend some time taking shots on goal. Even though I have never used a hockey stick I managed to score a hat trick (three goals) which happened to be the same number of goals scored by the Kings. I am not entirely sure it was coincidence. It was a pretty awesome experience for all of us, especially for those that had never been to a professional hockey game. There were big smiles all around.

On Sunday evening, Corbin Bowl in Tarzana hosted the Porn Star Bowling fundraiser benefiting the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) and the Licensed Adult Talent Agents Trade Association (LATATA). The fundraising event included bowling and a silent auction for the fundraising with karaoke and partying for the laughs.

There was a lot of talent there, most of whom were unknown to me before tonight but there were lots of familiar faces as well. Models from ATMLA, Foxxx Modeling, LADirect Modeling, Matrix Models, OC Modeling and Spiegler Girls made it fairly easy to take some entertaining photos. I had a good time and it looked like I was not alone.
