The 2012 Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) opened today at the Hard Rock Hotel. Today was the AVN Novelty Expo (ANE)with exhibitors providing various sex toys, clothes, male enhancement products and just about anything you could think of . . . or never dream of. Today was combined with a trade show that included seminars on topics of importance to those that run brick and mortar adult-themed businesses.

The AEE 2012 fan show opens at 2:00 PM tomorrow, January 19 and culminates with the AVN Awards on Saturday, at the Hard Rock Hotel. Thanks to Paxum E-Wallet for sponsorship of the photos. (more…)

These photos are of Tuesday at Internext 2012. The day began at the Hard Rock with another round of Speed Networking and a couple of seminars, but the main gathering, by a long shot, was the keynote by Fabian Thylmann. To be honest, I was not aware of how many people were at Internext until I saw the crowd milling around the entrance of The Joint waiting to get in. It was a pretty interesting conversation and I thought he came off quite well.

Tuesday and Internext 2012 ended with the CEO Dinner. I know I am not alone in saying that was one fine adult event. I do not think many would have predicted this two years ago. Theo, Panos and the entire AVN crew did a great job. Thank you. (more…)

These photos are of day two at the adult B2B event, Internext-Expo 2012 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Luckily, AVN thought ahead and did not schedule the first event until 11 AM, which was Speed Networking. The event was so popular that they were forced to open a second room when the first filled up immediately.

After Speed Networking was a Meet Market followed by panels and seminars on subjects such as billing, piracy, mobile, legal issues and the state of the industry. The day ended with a reception hosted by UpForIt. (more…)
