By Friday morning, the hotel had pretty well thinned out with many Barcelona Summit attendees headed to Amsterdam, Munich or home. About 20 of us stuck around for the winery tour and tasting. A comedy of errors resulted in a 45 minute bus ride taking 2.5 hours. This put a limit on the amount of time we could spend at the winery. Since the tour pretty much had a set schedule, this meant that we would have to make up any time at the tasting itself. It was not long before we had tried 10 different varieties of really good wine, then back for seconds of the ones you really liked.

We brought our luggage with us, so arranged for a cab to pick us up there and take us directly to the airport. There were others in our group that would have had a problem making the flight, but a strike in France ensured everyone was at the airport with time to spare.
