Cybersocket Web Awards 2010
As a new feature of PimpsPromo, I will write a review of the shows and events that I attend. For my inaugural review, I will review the 10th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards, which was held in West Hollywood on February 8, 2010.
The 10th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards were held in conjunction with the XBIZ LA show. Cybersocket describes their show as the only event of its kind that honors GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender) websites. Their awards include both “industry” and “surfer” categories which gives their viewing public an opportunity to vote for their favorite gay websites, niches and performers. The industry awards are voted on by people in the adult industry and include such categories as best affiliate program, billing company and web community, to name a few.
The awards show was held at Eleven Restaurant and Nightclub in Hollywood. The one thing you can count on with the gang at Cybersocket is that they certainly know how to throw a party. With an open bar and delicious hors d’oeuvres what is not to like? The venue was great with the entire upstairs section reserved for industry guests. This provided an excellent area to view the actual awards presentations as well as the halftime entertainment.
